, Meet Our Team: GavinTitle:

Managing Director, International Markets

How long have you worked at DJ Products?

As of April, I’m celebrating my first year at DJ Products.

Can you explain your role?

Managing global business development and pursuing and establishing new opportunities. That entails supporting regional dealer distribution patterns, sales and lead generation, application expertise, and overall product knowledge.

What would you describe as your specialty/specialties and why?

Locating and looking at right markets and within those markets establishing the right partnerships to leverage. It’s definitely more about quality vs. quantity in the types of partners we pursue to support our brand. Keeping an eye on market priorities and partnerships that help get our products out into the right spaces.

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at DJ Products?

One of my favorite things to do is walk our production floor in Little Falls, MN. It’s nice to see the products that we’re building and acknowledge the fact that each unit is for a specific application and company and it could be going anywhere in the world. I like talking to the production team about what their doing and how long their process will take from start to finish.

, Meet Our Team: GavinWhat do you like to do in your free time?

I’m a youth rugby and baseball coach on the side, so it’s fun getting kids involved in baseball and also the lesser known sport of rugby. I also enjoy spending time with my pooch, Boba Fett (Star Wars).

Favorite T.V. shows:

The Office – both British and American versions, Kids in the Hall – Canadian Comedy Sketch Group, and MacGyver – the original series.

How do you like your coffee?

Dark roast with little bit of cream.
