The CartCaddy5WP power tug is capable of pushing, pulling, or turning carts or wheeled equipment that have casters. The CartCaddy5WP tug is the more powerful upgrade to the CartCaddy5W tugger. Added weight over the drive tires creates greater traction and allows the 5WP tug to handle heavier loads.

Power Tug Applications

Most commonly, the application includes the cart with two front swivel casters and two rear straight casters. The CartCaddy5WP power tug attaches to the swivel caster end and provides the power necessary to easily turn and maneuver.

These carts can carry a variety of items, but regardless of the parts or equipment being moved, our motorized tug has the power to push or pull almost any heavy cart.

Power Tug Benefits

The power tug can travel from 0-3 mph in forward and reverse using a variable speed twist grip. This ergonomically correct variable speed feature prevents carpal tunnel and allows the operator to maintain smooth control while intricately maneuvering a load.

If the operator ever finds himself in a situation where he may be injured, the tug can be stopped easily using a safety stop switch at the back of the power tug handle bar box.

The customized attachment and the electric lift option eliminate the need for fabricating multiple attachments for each cart or piece of equipment. The CartCaddy5WP's tug arm lowers and rises, allowing it to attach firmly to the bottom of any cart. Weight is transferred from the cart to the front drive wheels of the CartCaddy5WP motorized cart puller for better traction when moving each load.

Maneuvering and smooth pivoting of your loads is easy with the CartCaddy5WP power tug. After the arm is attached firmly to your carts or equipment, the unit can pivot a full 180 degrees, allowing your operator to turn the electric tug without jackknifing your cart.
