Battery Powered Tug: RiderCaddBattery Powered Tugy

The RiderCaddy battery powered tug can push, pull, or maneuver carts and heavy trailers. The operator can either sit or stand while pulling the load.

Applications for the Battery Powered Tug

A common application of the riding tug is the cart with two front swivel casters and two straight back casters and that needs to be pulled significant distances. The battery powered RiderCaddy can either attach to the swivel caster end of a cart with the electric lift kit or can grab the eye of a cart with a pintle hitch or pin.

Benefits of the Battery Powered Tug

The battery powered tug increases overall productivity. If your company had carts that required several operators, a RiderCaddy would allow them to be moved by just one operator. The operators eliminated from this responsibility would then be available for other tasks.

A variable speed thumb twist grip is included on the tug that gives the operator smooth control, allowing the Rider Caddy to move from 0-5 mph in forward and reverse.

The pintle hitch or pin attachment and electric lift option eliminate the need for fabricating multiple attachments for each cart or piece of equipment. The arm of the battery powered tug lowers and rises, allowing it to attach to the bottom of any cart. Weight is transferred from the cart to the front drive wheels of the RiderCaddy equipment tug for better traction when moving each load.

The RiderCaddy cart tug can easily maneuver and pivot your loads. After the arm is attached firmly to your carts or equipment, the unit can pivot a full 180 degrees under the arm. These features allow your operator to sharply turn the RiderCaddy powered tug without jackknifing the cart.
