CartCaddy5WP - Power Tug
The CartCaddy5WP Power Tug is primarily designed to
push, pull, or turn carts or wheeled equipment that have casters. The CartCaddy5WP Power Tug
is the heavier duty upgrade to the
CartCaddy5W Tug. The 5WP model has
added weight and power over the drive tires to
provide increased traction for a heavier
cart.
Tug Applications
 The
most common application is the cart with 2 front swivel casters
and 2 rear straight casters. The CartCaddy5WP Power Tug attaches to
the swivel caster end and provides the pushing and pulling power
necessary for easy turning and intricate maneuvering.
These carts can carry
a variety of items, from a bin
full of washers, to a flat bed of steel, to a trough full of
cookie dough. Regardless of the parts or equipment on the cart
being pulled or pushed, our power tug or cart tug has
the power to push or pull almost any heavy cart.
Power Tug Benefits
The unit has a variable speed twist grip for forward and
reverse directions from 0-3 mph.
The ergonomically correct variable
speed feature prevents carpal tunnel and allows the operator to maintain
smooth control while intricately maneuvering a load. The CartCaddy5WP
Powered Pusher ability to move up to 3 mph prevents the often-frustrating
scenario of working with slowly moving equipment.
The safety stop
switch positioned at the back of
the Power Tug handle bar box immediately stops
the machine when depressed to prevent any possible injury from operating
the device. This feature is a must when buying any piece of equipment.
The
electric lift option and customized
attachment eliminate the need for fabricating
multiple attachments for each cart or piece of equipment. The CartCaddy5WP's
arm lowers and rises, allowing it to attach firmly to the bottom
of any cart. Weight is transferred from the cart to the front drive
wheels of the CartCaddy5WP Power Cart Puller for better traction
when moving each load.
The CartCaddy5WP Power Tug is designed
for easy maneuvering and pivoting
of your loads. After the arm is attached firmly to your carts or
equipment, the unit can pivot a full 180 degrees under the arm. This
feature allows your operator to turn the CartCaddy5WP Electric Tug
without jackknifing your cart.
